Beth S. Patterson, MA LPC
Professional Background

Registered Clinical Supervisor for Oregon LPCs, LPC interns, QMHAs and QMHPs
My therapeutic style is informed by my spiritual practice and deep belief that we all have the inherent wisdom to use our losses and other life challenges and transitions to grow and heal. My counseling practice is client-centered, grounded in wellness not sickness, and blends solution-focused, contemplative, body-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches. I specialize in issues involving grief, loss and all life transitions, as well as counseling musicians and others in the arts.
I also have worked extensively in the field of hospice care, counseling individuals of all ages from children to seniors, as well as families and caregivers. In addition, I facilitate support groups for those experiencing grief and loss, including job loss, and present programs to the public and organizations on grief, loss and self-care.
